Nature is fundamental to the economic development, resilience, and competitiveness of nations. The benchmark “ Integrating Nature into Business , developed by the Center for Public Studies (CEP) in collaboration with Deloitte and Fondo Naturaleza Chile, demonstrates that Chile is uniquely positioned to move toward more sustainable economies by offering goods and services based on its natural capital, attracting investment, and opening new development opportunities.

The study shows that integrating nature into business decision-making allows for risk management, improved resource efficiency, strengthened resilience, and the generation of long-term economic value. This is not about philanthropy, but about recognizing biodiversity and ecosystem services as strategic assets.

In this context, Fondo Naturaleza Chile promotes the mobilization of resources and the development of financial mechanisms that allow investments to be channeled towards the conservation and restoration of strategic ecosystems, contributing to closing financing gaps and recognizing Natural Capital as the basis of the country's sustainable development.
