Chile Nature Fund strengthens alliances in RedLAC Bolivia 2026
Representatives from the team and board of directors of Fondo Naturaleza Chile are participating this week in the RedLAC 2026 Congress in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. This event brings together environmental funds and organizations from Latin America and the Caribbean to share experiences, strengthen partnerships, and develop new ways to mobilize resources for conservation.

The event begins with the REDLAC Assembly; then it leads to three days of discussions on topics such as the global context and innovation; the role of indigenous communities in conservation; financial mechanisms and RedLAC's vision for 2030.
The executive director of Fondo Naturaleza Chile, Eugenio Rengifo, participates along with board members Leo Prieto and Andrés Antivil; and team members Paulina Stowhas, Carla Germani and José Pedro Merino.
During this first day of the Congress, Leo Prieto was part of the program with a keynote address on technology, innovation and data at the service of conservation, and participated in the panel “Impact Measurement (KPI)”, moderated by Eugenio Rengifo, where new tools and metrics were discussed to strengthen decision-making and mobilize investment towards nature.
Under the motto “Finances that drive conservation, indigenous peoples that protect, innovation that transforms”, the meeting is organized by RedLAC, FUNDESNAP, the Mexican Fund for Nature Conservation (FMCN) and the Chiquitano Forest Conservation Foundation (FCBC).
An opportunity to exchange knowledge, connect experiences, and continue building alliances that allow us to move towards long-term financing for the conservation of our Natural Capital.
