Changes in the Council of Fondo Naturaleza Chile (Chile Nature Fund)

Fondo Naturaleza Chile expresses its gratitude to Elías Albagli, Javier Ancapán, Magdalena Aninat, Elizabeth Balcázar, Denise Lira, and Lorenzo Rosenzweig , who served on the Board during its first four years and are now concluding their term. We appreciate their time, vision, commitment, contributions, and dedication in supporting the fund during this initial phase, solidifying the foundations of a transparent, efficient, innovative, and reliable organization that contributes to the financing of conservation and restoration in Chile.
In this new phase, the Chile Nature Fund Council, coordinated by Bárbara Saavedra and Fernanda Romero, is composed of the following members:
Aida Baldini | Executive Director of the National Forestry Corporation (CONAF).
Aníbal Pauchard | Professor at the University of Concepción and Director of the Institute of Ecology and Biodiversity.
Bárbara Saavedra | Director of the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Chile and founder of Fondo Naturaleza Chile. Coordinator of the Fondo Naturaleza Chile Council.
Enrique Cruz | Vice President of Así Conserva Chile AG
Erik Heyl | Former general manager of Rabobank Chile.
Fernanda Romero | Administrator of the Altos de Cantillana Nature Sanctuary. Coordinator of the Chile Nature Fund Council.
Francisco Solís | Director of the Chilean Patagonia Program, Pew Charitable Trusts.
Juan José Donoso | Executive Director The Nature Conservancy - Chile.
Julio Chamorro S. | Member of the Local Governance Board of the MPA of the Juan Fernández Archipelago and Desventuradas Islands.
Laura Farías | Oceans Panel, Scientific Committee COP25.
Martín del Río | CEO Ladera Sur, expert in communications and the environment.
Myriam Gómez | Expert in corporate governance, sustainability, innovation, and economic development. Member of the board of directors of Cape Horn International Center (CHIC) and Global Ambassador of Chapter Zero Alliance.
Patricio Merino | Director of the Pitipalena Foundation in the Aysén region.
Paloma Ávila | Director of Futuro 360 at CNN Chile.
Ricardo Lagos Weber | Lawyer, former Senator of the Republic of Chile, expert in economic diplomacy and ocean conservation.
Sara Larraín | Director, Fundación Chile Sustentable and director of the San Francisco de Lagunilla Nature Sanctuary.
