Paulina Stowhas

Conservation Program Manager

Paulina Stowhas is a Veterinary Doctor (U. Mayor) and Master in Environmental Conservation (University of Wisconsin-Madison).

She has more than 10 years of experience in environmental science, research, management, national public policy and environmental foreign policy in multilateral agreements.

She has several publications and has worked with various universities. She was Project Manager for Juan Fernández at the NGO Island Conservation, and later headed the national program for invasive alien species at the Ministry of the Environment.

She was an advisor to the Protected Areas Department of the same ministry, and later in charge of environmental treaties within the Environment team at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile, leading national delegations in the international arena.
